Gil oversees Five Eleven Partners’ investment strategy, managing investment sourcing, manager selection and the construction of client portfolios. Leveraging his experience and expertise, Gil provides families with tailored, effective investment solutions that meet their unique needs.

Before joining Five Eleven Partners, Gil was the Chief Investment Officer at M4 Capital Management, a single-family office in Chicago. Previously, he served as a Director at Sawdust Investment Management Corp., where he led investments in private equity and marketable alternative assets. Earlier in his career, Gil worked in investment banking, specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions at Mesirow Financial and Leveraged Finance at CIBC World Markets.

‍Gil is a CFA® charter holder and actively serves on the Board of Directors for the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund, a nonprofit that awards high school scholarships to motivated students with financial need in Chicago.

Gil holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University, with concentrations in Finance and International Business. A native-level Spanish speaker, he is fluent in both written and spoken Spanish. In his free time, Gil enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, golf, gastronomy and wine, and is an avid supporter of the San Diego Padres and Arsenal F.C.
